PADI Advanced Open Water

Diving course with PADI certificate

This PADI level is based on discussions with your instructor. This course is less theoretical and more practical, it consists of 5 dives, 2 of which are compulsory (deep dive to 30 meters and underwater orientation using a compass).

The Advanced Open Water allows you to try out different diving themes (deep diving, at night, on wrecks, etc.) thanks to the choice of 3 dives while strengthening your practical skills and the notion of a buddy.

- Duration : 3 to 4 days.

Prerequisites :
- Be at least 12 years old.

- PADI Advanced Diver Kit.

- A medical certificate.

Each dive can be credited as the first dive of the PADI specialty course. To obtain this patent, there are 2 parts:

Theoretical : The student receives the PADI educational material: Book and DVD. Then he must prepare the 5 chapters corresponding to the 5 “Adventure” dives he has chosen. These chapters will then be reviewed with the instructor during the theoretical course. NB: there is no theoretical exam for this patent.

Practice in a natural environment: The student must complete 5 “Adventure” dives to choose from among the dives offered by PADI. During these dives, certain exercises must be performed. These dives can be done either during diving trips in the Natural Environment, or during diving trips.
